$EDGE wasn't hacked or attacked, but the liquidity is gone, and the coins are gone too. The project team only explained themselves afterward.
This isn't called a hack; it's a rug pull variant. The liquidity pool got drained directly, and holders didn't even have time to dump before it was too late — cleaner than being hacked.
It's an old DeFi trick; the only difference is whether the project team's excuses are fresh enough. Just stay away from these coins; liquidity is the bottom line. Once that's gone, no matter how convincing the story is, it doesn't matter.
